Sorry for the lack of updates. After getting excited about announcing our move, we've engaged in a lot of radio silence. We've been busy with the end of school and decluttering the house to sell (more on that below). However, we may have a tentative move date and some other news, which we'll post shortly.

In the meantime, we thought we'd repost this from Facebook:

"We have to sell our house in Rochester. Before we sign with a Realtor, we would like to offer offer it at our lowest possible price, $74,000. (Or, $73,900. :-) Our goal is obviously to sell it quickly and not have to bring money to closing, but we also think that at that price the house could be a very good investment for someone. If we have to go with a Realtor, the asking price will go up to the low 80s, which doesn't make quite as much sense in this market.

It's been a really great house and is in good shape structurally: new roof in 2004, new water heater, and updated electric service. It still needs some TLC on the inside, but it has a surprising about of room for its size and age. 3BR, with a possible fourth downstairs, all with large closets. It's conveniently located near Riverside School and downtown Rochester. You can walk to the library!

If you know of anyone who is looking for a good investment opportunity, let us know! After our post last week, we've gotten some interest already (and many thanks to everyone who responded), so we're going to wait another week before contacting the Realtor. Thanks so much!"
